How to Add Your Wish
Adding a wish to the main page is very easy. It doesn't cost any money. You don't need to create any images. You just click a couple of times and type out your wish and that's it. Everyone can do it!
It only takes 2 minutes to to add your wish and make a difference in somebody's life...
Read this page once and then go through it again while doing the 5 steps.
Are you ready? Here are the 5 easy steps to take:
Step 1:
Tip! When writing your wish, imagine what you'd wish for your best friend...
Step 2:
The link opens a new window and you'll see the Peace Bird grid show up again. Only this time when you hover your mouse over it, you don't see any wishes. You now select a block and remember its color! (In the next step you will pick a colored block to paste into the place you chose on the grid. Please make this similar to the current background so a nice bright dove is the result! When there are more colors in one block, pick the dominant one...)
Step 3:
Once you selected your block, a red marker appears in the screen and at the top a button appears which says: 'Link the fields'. Click this button.
Step 4:
You will now be asked to "... select a picture from our collection" (uploading your own image is not possible with this grid). Click the colored block which matches the color of the background for your pixel block.
Step 5:
The last window shows a form with 4 fields to fill.
- Website link - if you don't have a website, fill in a web address of a site you find inspiring.
- Title text - this is the field to type in your wish! It says you get 50 characters max, but it's actually a 100 characters...
- Email address - type your email address so you can receive the confirmation email. Your address will not be visible online, it cannot be read by spambots and it will never be sold or given away by me!
- And again email address - just to make sure you make no typos while being so enthusiastic about adding your wish... ;-)
