  • Robert Müller
    Robert Müller is the founder of the University for Peace in Costa Rica; he designed the World Core Curriculum - a school curriculum which is centered around peace and global connectedness and he wrote several books of which I personally like Most of All They Taught me Happiness best.

    Over a decade ago, when the internet was still mostly an experiment, I found a paper by Robert Müller in which he proposed a peace project for schools. The idea was that a class would start a book at the beginning of the schoolyear and each day they'd write something in it - a quote, a poem, a short story or anything to wish peace for the world...

  • Satish Kumar
    Satish Kumar is editor of Resurgence Magazine, founder of Schumacher College and co-founder of The Small School in Hartland (Devon UK). He wrote a beautiful book called No Destination in which he describes how he and a friend walked half the globe for peace - all the way from New Delhi in India to Washington D.C. Satish Kumar also adapted the poem on the right from a mantra from the Hindu Upanishads. He is a wonderful man, a delight to listen to and learn from and he cooks delicious curries. :-)

Who Am I?

My name is Patricia Ritsema van Eck and I am the author of "You're the Key to My Happy Heart" (which hasn't been published in English yet, but has been in Dutch) and "The Dreaming of Paradise".

I live in the Netherlands with my partner Coen and our 4 children. I was trained as a Resonance Healer and 'Heart Focus' trainer, the HeartMath system for people how to reconnect with their hearts. I have a background in remedial teaching and worked as a corporate trainer of creative thinking, stress management and accelerated learning techniques.

My personal passion is to write books and develop online courses and 'Heart Focus' materials and projects. Like this site... ;-)
